If you are crazy about handball and if you are dreaming of a school year or two at a boarding school, then Dejbjerglund Efterskole is the right choice. At Dejbjerglund handball and boarding school are joined hand in hand if you want it and choose handball as a main subject. We are your handball boarding school in Jutland.
Our hands have the right handball swung. We are serious and create a training environment, where you can develop your technical and tactical skills for the game. We have room for all – the experienced national, team player and players at any level below. The commitment, the willing to develop and the happiness of the game are common for all our players.
Training
During training we are working systematically and focus on details of the game. Our experienced trainer team will during the two weekly training lessons develop you as a better and full handball player.
Skjern Håndhold
We cooperate withSkjern Håndbold. The cooperation gives our best players the possibility of combining boarding school with extra training in Skjern Håndbold. You will join a team at Skjern Håndbold and participate in their tournaments, while you are a student at Dejbjerglund Efterskole. Skjern Håndbold has each year dedicated four student spaces for boys and four for girls at their top teams.
Tournaments
During the school year we participate in tournaments, where we test our tricks and interaction – this is where we find the team spirit and it’s full of fun!
The clubtraining in Skjern is brilliant. We are having more practises and are learning a lot. I’ve really developed my play during my stay at Dejbjerglund Efterskole.

Extra training
If you are serious about handball you will have the option of playing with Skjern Håndbold once a week. It’s an extra option for even more handball training for you who are ambitious about the game.
